Mission
Power of Paint Art Academy & Management is a trauma-informed arts, culture, and education nonprofit committed to healing communities, empowering youth, and promoting socio-emotional wellness through the integration of visual, literary, and performing arts with therapeutic approaches. We create accessible, safe spaces for creativity, mentorship, and resilience-building across the Greater Philadelphia region.
Vision
It is not enough to produce art and fashion. We want to inspire the mind that will change the world.
We believe that art is a powerful tool for social change and that by leveraging its transformative power, we can create a more just and equitable world.
Our vision is to create a vibrant community of wholesome artists, educators, activists, and changemakers who are committed to using their talents and skills to make a positive impact in the world. We envision a world where everyone has access to high-quality education and healthcare, where creative expression is valued and celebrated, and where art is used as a tool for healing, connection, and positive social change.
To achieve this vision, we offer a range of programs and initiatives that are designed to meet the unique needs and interests of our community. Our programs include art classes and workshops, community events and exhibitions, leadership development programs, mental health workshops, and advocacy and activism initiatives.
Through our programs, we aim to cultivate and empower a new generation of leaders who are deeply committed to themselves, as well as others and who have the skills, knowledge, and passion to create meaningful change in their communities and beyond.
If one person has a better quality of life because Power of Paint and initiatives, like ASPIRE and Paint> exist, we would have succeeded.
